Regimental Information
The 12th Battalion was formed on 26 October 1914 at Harwich.
In January 1915 the Battalion moved to White City, London and then to Dorking in May 1915 and shortly afterwards to Colchester.
By March 1916 the Battalion was back at Harwich where it remained until it was disbanded on 31 August 1916 with its personnel transferred to the 26th and 27th Reserve Training battalions.
